A student at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, Anneka Henry is working toward a bachelor of arts in theater and dramatic arts. Anneka Henry also studied at Southern Oregon University in Ashland where she was a student government secretary and a member of the Oregon Student Association (OSA) delegation.

Created to give students a voice in statewide student issues, the Oregon Student Association began in the 1970s and was instrumental in the passage of a bill to control incidental fees imposed on students. The association has continued to gain influence in statewide student issues and is currently the nation’s strongest statewide student association.

The Oregon Student Association offers opportunities for campus and legislative internships along with summer staff positions that allow students to get more involved with student issues that will affect them while attending a college or university in the state of Oregon.
